Our Story
In 1978, T.J. Galley joined forces with George Kessler to form K&G Construction and set out to establish a reputation for quality as Northeast Florida’s most respected framing contractors throughout the 1980s. After buying George out, K&G shifted its focus to building homes, further bolstering the company’s notoriety and prestige in the construction world.
Following an economic downturn and the passing of his father, T.J.’s son Aaron took over the business in 2010, opening a new chapter in the K&G story of excellence. Through his leadership, K&G pivoted to develop and strengthen its commercial construction division, while also becoming one of Jacksonville's best roofing companies. K&G proudly serves Jacksonville, St. Johns, St. Augustine, Fernandina, St. Mary's, Brunswick, and the entire region of Northeast Florida and Southern Coastal Georgia!
